Terms and Conditions of Top Dissertation Writing Services UK
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or placing an order through Top Dissertation Writing Services UK, you (“Customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Top Dissertation Writing Services UK (referred to as “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Definitions
- Company: Refers to Top Dissertation Writing Services UK and its agents, representatives, and affiliates.
- Customer: The individual or entity placing an order for services through our website or platform.
- Writer/Expert: A freelance writer or subject-matter expert engaged by the Company to fulfill the Customer’s Order.
- Order: The project or assignment details provided by the Customer through the online order form, including instructions, requirements, deadlines, and any supporting materials.
- Services: The writing, editing, research, and related assistance provided by the Company and its Writers as specified in the Customer’s Order.
- Scope of Services
Our Company acts as an agency connecting Customers with qualified writers and researchers. We provide custom academic writing and research assistance services, including but not limited to dissertations, theses, essays, research papers, reports, and related projects. The final product is delivered in a written format (e.g., Microsoft Word document, PDF, etc.) in accordance with the Order requirements.
We strive to ensure that each Order is completed by a Writer with expertise in the relevant field. However, the Company does not guarantee any specific academic grade or outcome, as these are influenced by multiple factors beyond our control. The work provided is intended as research or reference material only. The Customer is responsible for how the delivered content is used and must abide by their institution’s policies regarding academic integrity.
- Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer must provide accurate and complete information when placing an Order. This includes contact details (email, phone number, mailing address), project instructions, sources, and any relevant files.
- The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and security of their login credentials (email, password) and any access provided to online resources or databases.
- If any information provided by the Customer is inaccurate or incomplete, the Company’s delivery deadlines may be affected. The Company is not responsible for delays resulting from the Customer’s failure to supply correct details or required materials in a timely manner.
- The Customer agrees to use the Services for legitimate academic purposes and not to engage in any form of plagiarism or academic dishonesty.
- The Customer is responsible for complying with any applicable laws and regulations in their use of the Services, including copyright laws for materials provided to or received from the Company.
- Order Placement Process
- The process of placing an Order begins when the Customer completes our online order form on www.topdissertationwritingservices.co.uk (or our official ordering platform). The form requires the Customer to provide project details such as topic, number of pages/words, academic level, deadline, formatting style, and any specific instructions or source materials.
- The Customer must supply all necessary materials (e.g., articles, books, datasets) and clarify any special requirements at the time of placing the Order. Additional instructions submitted after the Order is placed may be treated as change requests and could affect the deadline or cost.
- During the ordering process, the Customer may also be asked to set a password to access their account dashboard, where communication with the writer, order tracking, and downloads will occur. It is the Customer’s responsibility to keep this password secure and confidential.
- Once the Order form is completed, the Customer will review the summary of requirements and pricing. The final step is to make payment as set out in Section 6. By submitting payment and confirming the Order, the Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees to proceed under this Agreement.
- Payment Terms and Pricing
- Prices for our Services are determined by factors such as academic level, length of the project, deadline urgency, writer category, and any additional services (e.g., editing, plagiarism report). The total cost will be displayed in the Order form before payment.
- Payment is due in full at the time of Order placement, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In special cases, the Company may allow payment in two installments: an initial payment upon ordering and a final payment before delivery of the completed Order. If installment payments are allowed, both payments must be made by the deadlines communicated by the Company.
- Payments can be made using major credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, or any other payment method specified on our website. All payment transactions are secured and processed through reputable third-party payment gateways.
- If a payment is accidentally processed twice (duplicate payment), the Company will refund the extra amount upon verification. The Customer must notify us within 7 days of such an error and provide proof of duplicate charges.
- Failure to make payment in accordance with this Section may result in cancellation of the Order. If payment is not received, the Company reserves the right to refuse to assign a writer or to halt work until payment is confirmed.
- Prices displayed at the time of Order are guaranteed only for that Order. If the Customer modifies the Order (e.g., extends length, adds tasks), additional charges may apply. The Company will notify the Customer of any price changes and will proceed only after receiving approval.
- Assignment of Writer and Project Execution
- After the Customer’s payment is confirmed, the Company will assign a suitable Writer to the Order based on the subject area, academic level, and requirements. The Writer will have the necessary expertise to complete the project.
- The Customer may be given the opportunity to request preferences (e.g., advanced degree, preferred writer category). While we strive to accommodate such requests, we do not guarantee any specific Writer unless explicitly agreed.
- Communication between the Customer and the Writer will occur through the Company’s platform or messaging system. The Customer should check messages regularly and respond promptly if the Writer needs clarification.
- The Customer has the right to request a change of Writer if they believe the assigned Writer is not suitable. The Customer may request a new Writer within 2 hours after receiving the writer’s initial communication or sample. This may be done through the customer support team. The Company will make reasonable efforts to reassign the Order to another qualified Writer.
- The Company maintains a confidentiality agreement with all Writers. If the Customer provides any access credentials (such as library login or personal accounts) to aid the Writer, the Company will ensure the Writer accesses these resources securely (for example, via a secure, monitored remote desktop) without compromising the Customer’s privacy.
- Writers are expected to produce original content and to cite all references properly. The Company verifies completed work for plagiarism (see Section 13). Any failure by a Writer to deliver an original, properly referenced assignment may be subject to the Company’s quality assurance and refund policies.
- Delivery and Deadlines
- The Company will complete and deliver the Order by the deadline specified in the Order confirmation. Deadlines are inclusive of weekends and public holidays (UK) unless otherwise specified. The Customer is encouraged to set realistic deadlines to allow time for review and revisions.
- The Company strives to deliver high-quality work on or before the agreed deadline. However, in rare cases of unforeseen events (natural disasters, technical failures, etc.), the Company will communicate any delays to the Customer as soon as possible. If a delay cannot be avoided, the Company will either extend the deadline with the Customer’s consent or provide a partial refund as per the refund policy.
- Delivery of the completed Order is made through the Customer’s account dashboard or via email to the address provided by the Customer in the Order form. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct email address is entered.
- The Customer should download and review the delivered work promptly. The Company is not liable for any failure to receive or access the completed Order due to the Customer’s email settings (spam/junk filters), network problems, or any changes to the Customer’s contact information after the Order is placed.
- The Company will not be responsible for missed deadlines or delivery failures caused by the Customer, including last-minute changes, late submission of additional materials, or failure to respond to inquiries from the Writer or customer support.
- Progressive Delivery (Optional)
- Progressive Delivery allows the Customer to receive the Order in stages or parts, providing an opportunity to review and approve each part before the next is started. This option can be selected when placing the Order or added later through support.
- Under Progressive Delivery, the Customer and Writer agree on intermediate deadlines for each part of the work (e.g., sections, chapters). The Customer must review and approve (or request revisions) each part within the specified timeframe (usually 24–72 hours). Approval or requested changes will be recorded in the account dashboard.
- If the Customer fails to review or approve a delivered part within the agreed time, the overall final deadline will be automatically extended by the delay period. This ensures the Writer has enough time to complete all parts.
- It is the Customer’s responsibility to remain in contact, provide guidance, and respond to the Writer during the Progressive Delivery process. All feedback for each part should be given before the next part is delivered.
- The Progressive Delivery option is generally not available for very short deadlines (e.g., less than 3 days) or for very small orders (below a minimum value set by the Company). The Company may require Progressive Delivery for very large orders (such as dissertations with deadlines over 7–10 days or exceeding a certain cost) as a quality control measure.
- A 10% Progressive Delivery service fee may apply if this option is chosen. The fee covers the additional management and coordination required. Please note that once a part of the Order is approved, that part is considered finalized, and you cannot request refunds or cancellations for approved sections. Only the remaining incomplete portion of the Order may be eligible for revision or refund under the Company’s policies.
- Revision Policy
- The Company aims to satisfy the Customer, so we offer free revisions. If the delivered work does not fully meet the Order requirements, the Customer may request changes. Revisions are provided within the agreed scope of the original Order and within the original deadline. Each revision request should be specific about what needs to be changed.
- Free revisions are available for a limited period after delivery (for example, within 15 days from the date of delivery). During this period, unlimited revision requests within the scope of the original Order are allowed, provided they are reasonable and based on the initial instructions.
- The Customer should allow adequate time for revisions when setting the deadline. Revisions can take anywhere from 24 hours to several days, depending on the extent of changes requested.
- Revision requests that fall outside the original instructions (e.g., new topics, additional chapters, or extra word count) may be treated as new tasks. In such cases, the Company will inform the Customer if extra charges are needed to cover the additional work.
- If the Customer is not satisfied with the quality after the initial revisions, they may request a change of Writer at no additional cost within a reasonable timeframe (for example, within 2 hours of receiving the first draft or sample pages). The Company will attempt to assign a different qualified Writer to continue the revision.
- All revision requests must be made through the Company’s revision system or by contacting customer support. Requests outside the revision policy (for example, after the free revision period or beyond the original scope) may incur fees or may not be accommodated.
- Once the final draft is delivered and approved by the Customer, no further revisions can be requested under the free revision policy. Any additional editing or rewriting after approval is considered a new service.
- Quality Assurance
- To ensure high standards, the Company implements multiple quality control measures. All completed Orders undergo plagiarism scanning using reliable software to verify originality. We strive for 100% unique content.
- Upon request, the Company can provide a sample (e.g., 2–3 pages) of previous work by the assigned Writer for evaluation. This service may incur a nominal fee (e.g., $5). Samples are provided for quality-checking purposes only and should not be distributed or used outside this context.
- After the Writer is assigned, the Customer will have a short period (for example, 2 hours) to review the sample pages. If the Customer finds the sample unsatisfactory, they may request a different Writer up to three times.
- The Company does not guarantee the sample will be on the exact topic of the current Order, but it will demonstrate the Writer’s quality and style. Samples may include various content such as text, data, images, or charts, reflecting actual previous work.
- The Customer should notify us promptly if they have concerns about quality, and we will work to address them either through revisions or reassigning the Order. Quality issues identified during the revision period will be addressed at no extra cost as per our revision policy.
- It is the Company’s aim to assign writers who are fluent in English and have relevant academic credentials. However, customers may also request a higher-level writer (e.g., Advanced or Native English Writer) for an additional fee. If we are unable to provide the requested writer category after payment, we will refund the fee difference or offer alternatives.
- Confidentiality and Privacy
- The Company respects the privacy of our Customers and Writers. All information shared with us is kept strictly confidential. Customer data (including order details, personal information, and any uploaded materials) is only used to complete the Order and improve services.
- All Writers and staff are bound by non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality clauses. They are not permitted to share, use, or claim ownership of any Customer’s materials or instructions outside of completing the Order.
- If the Customer provides any login credentials, library access, or other private information, the Company guarantees that only authorized personnel will access these resources in a secure manner (e.g., using secure remote desktop systems). We never store customers’ passwords on our servers.
- The Company may use anonymized extracts of delivered work for internal quality assurance and training purposes. However, we will never publish or share these extracts in a way that identifies the Customer or reveals any proprietary content.
- Please refer to our Privacy Policy (posted on our website) for details on how we collect, use, and protect personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR (for EU/UK customers).
- Intellectual Property and Usage
- Upon full payment of the Order and delivery of the final work, the Customer is granted exclusive ownership of the completed work. The Customer may use the work for their academic purposes. The Company and the Writers waive any ownership claims to the content delivered as long as payment has been made.
- Until the final payment is completed, the work remains the property of the Company. Customers do not have the right to share, publish, or submit the work as their own until all charges are paid.
- The Company reserves the right to publish or use completed papers or excerpts for marketing or academic purposes (e.g., as samples or content) if we issue a full refund or cancellation after the work has been delivered. In such cases, the paper may be posted online (with or without customer name) to protect the Writer’s intellectual property and prevent misuse.
- Customers are prohibited from reselling or distributing any part of the service or completed work to third parties. The work is provided for the Customer’s personal use and should not be resold or used by others.
- The Customer is responsible for any legal or academic consequences arising from improper use of the delivered work (such as plagiarism or violating academic policies).
- Refunds and Cancellations
The Company strives to provide services that meet the Customer’s expectations, but recognizes that circumstances may sometimes require partial or full refunds. The following terms define our refund and cancellation policy:
14.1. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If the Customer accidentally submits payment more than once for a single Order (for example, due to a technical error or double submission), the Company will refund the extra payment in full after verifying the duplicate charge. The Customer should notify our support team within 7 days and provide proof of the duplicate transaction.
14.2. Plagiarism
The Company guarantees that all delivered work is written from scratch. If a Customer can demonstrate that the final paper contains plagiarism exceeding 30% (via an official plagiarism report like Turnitin), a full refund may be issued. The Customer must submit the plagiarism report to our support team for verification. Without valid evidence, requests based on plagiarism will not qualify for a refund.
14.3. Quality Issues
If the delivered work does not meet the Customer’s requirements (for example, poor grammar, irrelevant content, or failure to follow instructions), the Customer should first request revisions. The Company will make reasonable efforts to revise the work according to the original instructions and deadline as described in Section 10.
If, after at least three rounds of revision, the Customer still identifies significant issues that are the Company’s fault (such as failing to meet requirements), a partial refund of up to 30% of the Order cost may be issued. To qualify, the Customer must provide detailed feedback about the problems. The Company’s Quality Assurance team will review the claim and determine if a partial refund is justified.
14.4. Order Cancellation by Customer
- Before Writer Assignment: If the Customer cancels the Order before a Writer has been assigned or the work has begun, the Company will refund up to 80% of the paid Order fee. The Company may retain a processing fee or service charge of up to 20%, depending on how soon the cancellation is requested.
- After Writer Assignment: If the Customer requests a cancellation after a Writer has been assigned and work has started (for example, after receiving the writer’s confirmation email or initial draft), the Customer is entitled to a partial refund. The specific amount will depend on the amount of work completed at that point. The Company’s management will review the order status and time spent and determine a fair partial refund. Typically, up to 50% of the paid amount may be refunded in this case.
- After Delivery: Once the completed Order has been delivered and reviewed by the Customer, no cancellations are accepted beyond the provisions of Section 14.3 (Quality Issues). The Customer may request a refund only if eligibility under Sections 14.2 or 14.3 is met.
- Immediate Need Orders (24-48 hour deadlines): Orders with very short deadlines are processed and completed very quickly. Such Orders cannot usually be canceled or refunded (except under Sections 14.2 or 14.3) due to the expedited nature of the work.
14.5. Late Delivery
The Company understands that meeting deadlines is critical. If the Company fails to deliver the first draft of the Order by the agreed deadline (for reasons within our control), the Customer may request a recalculation of the order price. For example, if an 8-hour delivery paper is completed in 12 hours, it effectively becomes a 12-hour delivery in cost, and the difference in price will be refunded. If the first version of a paper is late and is not approved by the Customer, the Customer is eligible for a full refund of the Order cost. In such cases, the Company will also provide a discount code for a future Order as a gesture of goodwill, since the original need may have passed. For long-term orders (more than 10 days), if the first version is late, the Customer may request a 7% refund of the total price upon their request.
14.6. Additional Services and Features
Some extra services and features may have specific refund rules:
- Progressive Delivery Fee: The 10% fee for Progressive Delivery (if any) is non-refundable once paid. Only the undelivered portion of the Order is refundable.
- Sample Pages Fee: The fee paid for writer sample pages is non-refundable. If the sample is not satisfactory, the Customer may request a different Writer but will not receive a refund of the sample fee.
- Editing/Proofreading Service: If the Customer purchased an additional editing or proofreading service but later requests a refund for that specific service, a partial refund of the extra fee may be issued (via the standard partial refund process).
- Writer’s Category Upgrade: If the Customer paid an extra fee for a higher-category Writer (e.g., “Advanced” or “Native Speaker”) but we are unable to find such a writer and assign a lower-category writer instead, we will refund the difference in fees.
- Discount Codes: Discounts applied at the time of Order placement are final and cannot be refunded. Once the Order is paid for, no refunds or adjustments will be made for missed discount codes.
- Forgotten Approval: After delivery of the final version, the Customer has 14 days to request revisions or approve the Order. If no action is taken within 14 days, the Order is automatically marked as approved. From the moment of approval (manual or automatic), the Customer then has an additional 14 days to request a refund under these policies. After that period, no refund requests will be accepted.
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted through the Customer Support or Dispute Resolution channels. The Company processes approved refunds within 14 business days.
- Money-Back Guarantee
We strive for complete customer satisfaction. However, if certain issues arise, the Company offers a Money-Back Guarantee with specific conditions:
- No Writer Found: If the Company cannot assign a qualified Writer to the Customer’s Order (for instance, no suitable expert is available), the Customer will receive a full refund of the Order payment. Additionally, the Customer will receive a discount coupon for a future Order.
- Unable to Change Writer for Revision: If the Customer requests a revision to be completed by a different Writer and the Company is unable to find an appropriate replacement, the Company’s Dispute Resolution team will review the case. Upon validation, a full or partial refund will be issued if no suitable writer can complete the revision.
- Late Delivery of the First Draft: The Company aims to deliver the first draft on time. If the first draft is delivered after the agreed deadline (through no fault of the Customer), the Customer may request an adjustment. For orders with deadlines over 10 days, the Customer may request a refund equal to 7% of the total order price, or request a recalculation of the price to reflect the missed deadline. If the first draft is delivered late and falls outside the acceptable deadline, the Customer may request a full refund of the Order cost. In such a case, the Company will also offer a discount code for a future Order as compensation.
- Late Delivery of Revision: Revisions have separate deadlines. Refunds do not apply if a revision is late. To avoid issues, the Customer should set the final submission deadline at least 20–30% longer than the first draft deadline to allow time for revisions.
- Not Satisfied but Keep Work: If the Customer is not completely satisfied with the final paper but chooses to keep it and revise it themselves, the Customer may request a partial refund. To do so, the Customer should email the dispute department (e.g., at dispute@topdissertationwritingservices.co.uk) stating, “I am not fully satisfied with the quality of the paper. I accept it and will revise it myself. I request a partial refund.” The Company will then provide the editable (Word) version of the paper. The Customer will have 14 days to submit a detailed explanation of their dissatisfaction or their own revisions as supporting evidence. As soon as they do, the Company’s Dispute team will review the case, and up to 40% of the Order price may be refunded at their discretion.
- Completely Dissatisfied – Full Refund: If the Customer is completely dissatisfied and has not approved any version of the paper, they may request a full refund. In such cases, the Company reserves the right to publish or use the delivered paper as described in Section 13 (to protect the Writer’s intellectual property). The Customer may not request a full refund after having approved the final version or more than 14 days after delivery. If the Customer has at least once approved either the initial or the revised version of the paper (by contacting Customer Support), only a partial refund may be offered. Please note that for personal services (such as editing a CV or cover letter), a full refund may be possible (and in such cases the paper will not be published online because it may contain personal data).
- Additional Services: For optional services, the following refund rules apply:
- Progressive Delivery: Only the undelivered portion of the Order is eligible for refund; the 10% Progressive Delivery fee is non-refundable.
- Writer Samples Fee: The fee paid for a writer sample is non-refundable once paid.
- Editor/Proofreader Fee: If the Customer requests a refund of an additional editing or proofreading fee, a partial refund of that extra fee may be issued if the main Order is still active and the service was unused.
- Writer’s Category Upgrade: If the Customer paid for an Advanced or Native-level Writer but the Company assigns a lower category writer, the difference in fees will be refunded.
- Discount Codes: Discounts applied at Order placement are final and cannot be refunded.
- Forgotten Approval: After delivery of the final version, the Customer has 14 days to request revisions or approve the Order. If no action is taken within 14 days, the Order is automatically marked as approved by the system. From the moment of approval (manual or automatic), the Customer then has an additional 14 days to request a refund under these policies. After that period, no refund requests will be accepted.
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted through the Customer Support or Dispute Resolution channels. Refunds are processed within 14 business days after approval of the request by our team.
- Chargeback and Payment Disputes
- The Company uses secure third-party payment processors. If a payment is flagged or declined by the payment processor’s anti-fraud system (for example, due to unusual location or mismatched card details), our support team will guide the Customer on how to complete the transaction. We may require additional verification (such as 3D Secure or Bank Transfer).
- To minimize forced chargebacks, the Company reserves the right to verify the Customer’s identity and payment information when deemed necessary.
- If the Customer has a complaint or issue, it must be addressed through our Customer Support or Dispute Resolution process. The Company will attempt to resolve any payment disputes or service complaints within 10 days from the Customer’s initial complaint.
- If the Company fails to resolve the issue within the 10-day period, the Customer may choose to pursue a chargeback or dispute with their bank or payment provider.
- Important: If the Customer initiates a chargeback or dispute with the bank/payments company before completing the Company’s internal dispute process, the Company will consider it an unauthorized chargeback. In this case, the Company reserves the right to refuse any refund and may terminate any ongoing Order. The Customer agrees that such chargeback without first seeking resolution with the Company is unfair and may be subject to recovery of fees.
- Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
- The Services provided by the Company are intended solely as writing and research assistance. The Company does not guarantee academic success or any particular result from using the work. The final decision to use, edit, or reference the delivered content rests with the Customer.
- The Customer acknowledges that the Company’s writers are not official academic evaluators. The Company makes no warranties regarding any specific academic outcome, such as grades or acceptance of work by instructors. Academic performance depends on many factors beyond our control (such as presentation of the work, instructor judgment, additional course materials, etc.).
- The Company provides the delivered paper as-is after revisions and approval. We warrant that the work will conform to the Order instructions. However, aside from those terms, the Company disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We encourage the Customer to carefully review the delivered work to ensure it meets the Order requirements before using or submitting it.
- The Company’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the Order. In no event shall the Company or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (such as loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption) arising out of or relating to the use of the Services.
- The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or losses arising out of the Customer’s use of the Services or breach of this Agreement, including any claim made by a third party (such as a school or employer) regarding the content of the delivered work.
- The Company will not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of nature, technical failures, internet outages, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to resume work as soon as possible and inform the Customer of any expected delays.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, regardless of the Customer’s residence. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice. Changes will be posted on the Company’s website. By continuing to use our Services after such revisions are posted, the Customer accepts and agrees to the updated Terms. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
- Contact Information
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback about these Terms and Conditions or our services, please contact our customer support team via the website’s Live Chat, email, or phone. All correspondence will be handled in confidence.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (together with any documents referred to herein) constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Customer, superseding all prior discussions or agreements. No additional terms, conditions, or representations by any employee or agent of the Company will have any force or effect unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Please note that your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced on our website.
